Find an Rtt Therapist

I get it, you are looking for a different kind of therapy than traditional talk therapy. You may have been researching Marisa Peer for a while, and are finally ready to find the Rtt therapist for you. The good thing is that there are are hundreds of us trained under Marisa Peer herself. The hard part is that may of us specialize in specific niches— some of only work with weight loss, others in medical conditions, and some others only work in confidence and self-love. So how do you find an RTT Therapist that truly matches what your needs are?

  1. Listen closely to your gut. I believe that our intuition knows exactly what kind healing we need and who we need to guide us there. By tapping in and listening closely to your inner knowing, you can feel out what kind of rtt therapist is called to you and find the right one. Healing is not linear, and often choosing the rtt therapist to help you in that process isn’t linear either.

  2. The age, gender, and background of your therapist might make a big difference to you. I feel most comfortable working with female rtt therapists, as I feel there is an extra layer of understanding of relationship dynamics that can play a huge role when the therapist helps you do the detective work to find out the root cause of the issue. Men might feel the same way when choosing a male therapist.

  3. You spend hours looking through bios, but you can’t decide. This is where analysis paralysis can keep you from actually getting the healing done that you need. It is important to take the first step, know that their approach is standardized by Marisa Peer’s training, but that each therapist adds a bit of their own flair, intuition, and experience to the mix. This is just the first step of your healing journey and getting the first session done will give you so much more insight into what kind of therapist you are looking for —for your next session on a different area of your life.

Who ever you choose for your therapy, you will know if it is right and can then choose again. I don’t see RTT as a one and done therapy, but an opportunity to heal in many different areas of your life very quickly. I like to have sessions regularly until I feel like there aren’t any more wounds or issues that come up for me. That feeling of constantly working on myself, clearing old beliefs, and letting go of old hurt makes me feel light and at peace. I encourage everyone to begin this journey!
